Information concerning a PNB Research Group
Our mission is to increase the opportunities for a successful career development of highly qualified postdocs in entire Brandenburg through a close support and at the same time to strengthen the attractiveness and future viability of the state of Brandenburg as an emerging scientific location.
The PNB – a network for all postdocs in Brandenburg – invites national and international postdoctoral researchers exclusively from the STEM subjects to apply for a research group starting in January 2025 or later.
Funding of € 1 Million in total is provided for four years for one postdoctoral scientist to further his/her career by qualifying as a group leader (PI) of an independent research group at one of the universities in Brandenburg.
This funding includes:
– the group leader position (TV-L E14) for four years
– scientific staff, maximum three positions (TV-L E13) for three years
– expenses for materials, travel, and investments.
In addition, PNB fellows have access to professional training and coaching supporting their development of individual and professional competencies.
